The charity
Whether you have to register, how, HMRC and Gift Aid, what you report and when, and where the deeds are.
Do we have to register with the Charity Commission?
A Scout Group is already a charity. It only registers over £100,000, or £5,000 with land or an endowment.
Scotland and Northern Ireland
In Scotland registering with OSCR is your choice; in Northern Ireland every Group registers with CCNI.
Registering, step by step

HMRC recognition and Gift Aid
Separate from the regulator, and open to excepted Groups in England and Wales too.
What you report, and when

The register of important documents
